Terms and Conditions

Liability Statement and Disclaimer of Warranties

The products described and illustrated in this catalog and our website are warranted against defects in the manufacturing process only. As all applications vary, a “Use Warranty” is not implied or intended. The buyer should carefully analyze the environment in which the products are to be used to determine if they provide adequate protection.

Privacy Statement

Stanco Manufacturing Inc. manufactures a variety of Flame Resistant Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Our Privacy Statement covers Stanco Manufacturing Inc. and its content.

Payment Terms

Net 30 days on approved accounts from date of invoice. Past due accounts subject to service charge of 1-1/2% per month on outstanding balance.

Transportation Alliance

Pricing is F.O.B. factory. Freight will be allowed and prepaid on orders having a net value of $1,800.00 or more to a single destination within the Continental U.S.

Pricing

All pricing is subject to change or withdrawal without notice and will apply to unfilled order balances if necessary. All orders are subject to final confirmation and acceptance by Stanco Manufacturing, Inc., regardless of notations, statements and other terms and conditions that may appear on Customer Purchase Order documents now or in the future.

Minimum Orders

A Service Charge of $15.00 will be added to orders valued less than $100.00

Claims

Lost or damaged merchandise is the responsibility of the buyer and should be reported to the carrier. Claims for defective merchandise, in the buyer’s opinion, will need to be reported to us within 30 days of the purchase. Claims must include samples of the product with alleged defects. The factory will then thoroughly inspect the product to determine if there is a defect in workmanship and/or material.

Return Policy

We discourage the return of products. However, we will consider the return provided:
  • The products are catalog items
  • The products are in saleable condition (not soiled or used)
  • The products were purchased within a 30-day period of time from the request date
A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number from a Customer Service Representative must be obtained, and the freight prepaid back to our warehouse. There will also be a 25% re-stocking charge for all authorized returned goods. Custom and special products may not be returned. Standard/catalogue products over size 4XL are considered custom and therefore are not returnable.

Special Printing

Ask your Customer Service or Sales Representative. We have several methods of quality printing available. Heat transfer, Die Embossing, Embroidery and Silk Screen. There is an initial set-up cost, plus per unit charge.

Retail Packaging

Select products are available with Retail Packaging to promote Self-Service Store needs. These items include: Study Plastic Hooks, Hanger Cards with Product Information and Barcodes that comply with UPC Guidelines. Product Sections are noted in bold type ‘Packaged For Retail Display.’ All products in our line are available with retail packaging.

Custom Products

We welcome the opportunity to work with you on the development of new products. A prototype can be made from a drawing or existing sample. Charges depend on quantity and type of product, and will be credited to your account after receipt of initial order. Custom and special items are proprietary and handled in confidence. Minimum order quantity for custom items is 24 units unless otherwise arranged.

Product Warranty

We warrant products against defects in the Manufacturing Process only. Use warranty is not implied or intended because of the varied applications of products. It is the Buyer’s Responsibility to determine if a product will adequately protect the user.

Samples

Demonstration samples will be invoiced at last bracket (maximum discount) pricing.

Product Information

We maintain a complete library of information on our products. This includes training CD’s, Material Safety Data Sheets and other detailed literature. In addition to this we supply, free-of-charge, a complete 4-color Product Catalogue that is very informative and always current.

Delivery Lead-Time

It is our intention to provide you with accurate lead times. However, if the products you request are needed sooner, our customer service staff will certainly be glad to work with you. We will always commit to firm delivery dates.

Distribution Policy

Our sales are through Industrial Distributors Only — We do not sell to end-user accounts.

Governing Law

Orders shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Texas. In the event of any dispute not resolved by negotiation or mediation, jurisdiction and venue shall be in Cass County, Texas, or as appropriate, the United States District Court in Marshall, Texas. The party prevailing in any such dispute shall be entitled to recover actual attorneys’ fees and costs.
